OKLAHOMA CITY - The father of one of three girls who was trapped in a school elevator back in 2011 is now frantically searching for his daughter.

Fourteen-year-old Ambri Tygard went missing last week. Her father, Stephan Blevins, tells News 9 she's been gone since Friday, but he spoke to her on Monday. He doesn't believe her life is in immediate danger, but he's worried about her safety.

Dozens of missing posters, pleading for information about Ambri, have been put up along Western Avenue and in the Midtown area of Oklahoma City.

Ambri received worldwide attention in 2011 when she and two of her friends became trapped underneath an elevator at Classen School of Advanced Studies. Her family sued the school district, and settled the case this year.

In the suit, Ambri's father said his daughter received physical and emotional pain because of the elevator accident. Her mother also died shortly after the incident.

If you know where Ambri Tygard is, call police immediately.
