OHP: Vehicle Packed With Illegal Immigrants Crashes Near Perry; One Killed

PERRY, Oklahoma -

One person was killed and two others were injured as a vehicle packed with illegal immigrants crashed Monday morning near Perry, Oklahoma.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, just before 9 a.m., a vehicle packed with 14 illegal immigrants rolled over at mile marker 184 on Interstate 35 just south of Perry. Troopers say the driver fell asleep behind the wheel.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Two people were injured in the crash and have been medi-flighted to the hospital.

Troopers say some of the people in the vehicle ran away from the scene following the crash. They have captured all but two people who are still on the loose.

Troopers are asking everyone to be on the lookout for these two. They don't speak any English and may be injured due to the crash.
