Chesapeake Confirms Number Of Employees Let Go

OKLAHOMA CITY -

In an SEC filing Tuesday, Chesapeake Energy Corp. said it has laid off approximately 900 employees in September and October.

The layoffs have been widely reported, but the filing is the first time Chesapeake has provided the total number of employees let go since the restructuring accelerated this fall.
