Police Identify Homicide Victim Shot In NE OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police have identified a man shot to death Saturday morning in northeast Oklahoma City, but they have not yet found the person who killed him.

Witnesses called police around 1:30 a.m. when gunshots went off at N.E. 28th Street and Eastern. Police arrived and found shooting victim 36-year-old Benny Dean.

Dean was rushed to a hospital where he died. Police say Dean had just been released form prison the day before he was shot.

Police have made no arrests and have not named any suspects. Anyone with information about the shooting should call the Homicide Tip Line at (405) 297-1200.
