No One Injured As Car Crashes Into Power Pole In SW OKC

A driver lost control of a car and crashed into a power pole in southwest Oklahoma City, Sunday night. No one was injured in the crash.

A driver lost control of a car and crashed into a power pole in southwest Oklahoma City, Sunday night. No one was injured in the crash.

According to police, the accident happened at about 9:30 p.m. at S.W. 25th and Agnew. A car was traveling west on S.W. 25th, when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it struck a power pole.

Police say the car was going over the speed limit, which was 30 mph in the area. 

The power pole did not fall, but a power line did.

It appeared the street lights along S.W. 25th Street from May Ave. to Kentucky Ave. were out. Houses in the area still had power.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
