Bicyclist Struck By Police Cruiser In NE OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY -

A bicyclist is recuperating at a local hospital after being hit Thursday night by an Oklahoma City police cruiser in northeast Oklahoma City.

It happened in the 2700 block of NE Martin Luther King Ave., just before 8:30 p.m.

Police say the victim, who has not been identified, was transported from the scene by ambulance to OU Medical Center in serious condition. EMSA tells News 9 the man was in good condition when they arrived at the hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
