Two men flashing wads of cash in parking lots are taking advantage of elderly victims in Oklahoma City, police say.

Investigators with the White Collar Crimes Unit say two black males with African accents approach victims and show them a large sum of money. The suspects then share a bogus story about how they obtained the money, and say they're looking for an American to help them donate the money to a charity.

The suspects tell the elderly victims in order to establish trust, the victims must give them some cash as a sign of good faith. The suspects convince the victims to withdraw $1,000 to $10,000, go with them to their banks, and then take all the cash and leave.

Police have obtained two photos of the suspects from a surveillance camera. They are hoping someone will recognize the men. The suspects have been driving a white van, possibly a Dodge Caravan.

Anyone with information about the case should call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
