A diehard soccer fan is traveling the world to raise money for cancer research after losing his mother.
Peter Anderson is from London and has been a fan of Arsenal Football Club his entire life.
When he lost a mother to triple negative breast cancer in February, he came up with a plan to honor her memory by going on the road.
He started his worldwide road trip in late August, and won't be done until May 2014.
"I came up with the ridiculous idea of watching every single Arsenal game no matter where I am in the world," says Anderson, who is staying with different Arsenal fans in every city he visits.
Arsenal fans refer themselves as "Gooners." Anderson writes about his experiences under the title, "Gooner on the road" often posting videos and blogs on his experiences with Arsenal fans.
Anderson encourages you to follow him on facebook and twitter at @goonerontheroad. His goal is to raise $15,000 for triple negative breast cancer research in memory of his late mother.
"I think she'd be proud of me," says Anderson about his trip, which has taken him to dozen of cities already.
On Saturday, Anderson got a chance to go the Oklahoma game against TCU, after meeting a Gooner who was also a Sooner in Dallas.
