OKLAHOMA CITY -

A teen's joyride ended with a swim in the lake in southwest Oklahoma City, Saturday evening.

It happened just after 9 p.m. Witnesses told News 9 a teenage boy was driving through a neighborhood near S.W. 134th and May. He swerved, over corrected, and drove off the road and into the neighborhood lake.

It took about two hours to pull the car from the water. Officials say the driver is okay.

Neighbors say they've seen that same car flying down their streets before.
