The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has arrested a man suspected of stabbing a 53-year-old man outside a home in Snyder.

Thomas Kent Bell was stabbed October 2 in the 500 block of A Street. He was rushed to a hospital in Altus, where he died.

Snyder Police requested the help of OSBI agents in the investigation. They arrested 25-year-old Forrest Kyle Barfield at the crime scene. Investigators say the two men were involved in a physical fight, and Barfield stabbed Bell during the altercation.

Barfield was booked into the Kiowa County jail on a complaint of first-degree murder.
