The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has determined there was no dangerous device in the Pottawatomie County Courthouse following a bomb threat Wednesday morning.

Troopers and the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office evacuated the courthouse after someone called in a bomb threat. Troopers used three bomb-sniffing dogs to search the grounds around the courthouse. When they found nothing, went inside the building.

No bomb was found, and employees were allowed to return to the courthouse.

Troopers also searched the district attorney's office next door and did not find anything suspicious.

Shawnee police blocked off the road in front of the courthouse, and are controlling traffic in the area.
