Tulsa Police say a man has died after being shot multiple times during a disturbance on a Tulsa street late Tuesday.

Police responded to a home in the 5000 block of 36th West Avenue after getting a report of shots fired at about 10:30 p.m.

Witnesses told officers during the fight outside the home, a dark colored SUV drove up and someone inside opened fire. Police say someone in the crowd returned fire.

A man in his 20s was shot.

Witnesses told police the victim crawled onto a porch of a nearby home asking for help. Rebecca Longbrook said she and others tried to help the victim.

"I go ahead and stay here, let me in, I'm a nurse, let me do, they're like okay, you do this, I'll do the breathing," said Rebecca Longbrook.

EMSA took the victim to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Tulsa Police say other than a dark colored SUV, they don't have much of a description of the vehicle or those inside.

Police say this is the city of Tulsa's 50th homicide of the year.

They are also asking if anyone has information about the shooting to call Crime Stoppers 918-596-COPS or text 918TIP to "Crimes."
