One of Oklahoma's Finest surprises his 5-year-old son at school after a 9-month deployment in Afghanistan.

Sgt. Chad Chudoba did more than just show up to greet his son, he dressed for the part.

Sgt. Chudoba put on the Del City Elementary school mascot costume and read a story to his son Isaac and his fellow kindergarteners.

At the end, he took off the Panther head and introduced himself as Isaac's father.

The father brought his son to his lap and the two hugged.

"It's awesome. I miss my boy," Sgt. Chudoba said.

Isaac claims he wasn't that surprised.

"Because it sounded like him," Isaac Chudoba said.

Moments later, a happy Issac was asking his father if they were going to play together.

"It's the best," said Sgt. Chudoba, who was making his first deployment to Afghanistan. "The best ever."
