OKLAHOMA CITY -

The Oklahoma County bomb squad gives the all clear after investigating a suspicious package found in a pickup truck on Tinker Air Force Base Monday.

According to base officials, the suspicious package was reported at the truck gate near S.E. 59th Street and Air depot at approximately 12:00 p.m. Monday. As a precaution, a 500-foot cordon was established and personnel were evacuated from the immediate area.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad along with base fire and security forces investigated the package and vehicle that carried it.

It turns out the package was a normal delivery that the base wasn't expecting.
