Public Intoxication, Missing Persons Biggest Police Issues At State Fair

Recently-released crimes statistics from the 2013 Oklahoma State Fair reveal public drunkenness and calls about missing loved ones were the biggest problems for Oklahoma City Police during the annual event.

Police reported there were 16 calls for public intoxication, and 18 arrests. Officers were also called 100 times to investigate a missing person report, but those calls were quickly resolved.

Police also received four calls for assault and battery, and arrested two people. There were also five auto burglary reports.

Officers made six arrests for outstanding warrants, and two arrests for weapons violations.

In all, there were 39 arrests. That's down from 52 in 2012.
