Your 2 Cents: Generational Difference

I feel almost out of balance when I walk out the door without my wristwatch on. I'll drive back 10 minutes to get it. But I mentioned to Amanda how few young people even where watches these days, they just use their phones to check the time.

It's just a generational difference, when I asked you guys to share some others on my Facebook page I got 750 responses and counting since 6 oclock.

Nan wrote: "I gave my granddaughter a really nice, colorful, stylish watch for Christmas last year.

She looked at me like I was crazy."

Diana says: "My daughter and granddaughter don't carry a purse. I would never leave home without one."

Terry asks: "How about a handwritten invitation?"

Steve says: "I take my hat off when walking into any home or restaurant."

From Laura: "Driving as much as I could , as soon as I could. My kid is 17 and only has a learner's permit because I insisted on driver's ed last summer.

Ruth notes: "A lot of the younger generation do not cook - especially from scratch!"

Finally, Lisa says her daughter.. "Laynie laid her baby doll (no batteries, just a regular baby) on the kitchen counter. She said, "Mom, charge her. She needs charged."
