Small Earthquake Recorded Near Cushing Saturday Night

A small earthquake was recorded near Cushing, Oklahoma, Saturday night.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 2.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded just after 10:30 p.m.

Its epicenter was located seven miles west, northwest of Cushing, ten miles east, southeast of Stillwater, and 52 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.

It was about three miles deep.

No injuries or damage were reported.
