Three brazen burglars hit a southwest Oklahoma City home, but left behind a lot of evidence for police.

The thieves walked off with a safe and right into the path of surveillance cameras in the 500 block of Hutton, near Reno and Czech Hall.

Oklahoma Police say several men burglarized the home and calmly walked through the front yard to get away. A neighbor's surveillance cameras got a good look at the suspects who walked away with the safe full of jewelry, Chinese currency, and several important documents.

The suspects also made off with the homeowner's wedding ring, iPod, and other mementos.

Master Sergeant Gary Knight explained the homeowners were unaware someone broke into their home until the officer arrived at their front door.

"Police were alerted to it by seeing some men throwing a safe off a bridge near Lightning Creek," Knight said.

Knight said that officer retrieved some of the documents and traced it back to the home.

Police said the suspects were in a champagne Monte Carlo and the car has a large dent on the driver side.
