OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police arrest a former Oklahoma Sooner football player accused of DUI.

According to a police report, Chijioke Onyenegecha, 30, was driving down the wrong side of the street when they pulled him over.

It happened Wednesday, September 18, when police say Onyenegecha drove down Reno Avenue the wrong way. Officers then pulled him over near S.W. 3rd and S. Meridian Avenue.

The former defensive back allegedly had an empty flask and unopened beer under his passenger seat. He agreed to take a breathalyzer test, but did not follow instructions for an accurate reading.

Police booked him on charges of DUI and driving the wrong way on a one way street.
