If you're a fan of Anheuser-Busch products, you'll be happy with what we tell you next.

Starting November 1, the "The King of Beers" says it will make a handful of its products available in Oklahoma with 5 percent alcohol volume.

Because of a disagreement between Anheuser-Busch and the state of Oklahoma over distributorship rights in 1977, only A-B products with 3.2 percent liquor volume have been sold in Oklahoma.

But Monday, Anheuser-Busch notified the state it plans to make some 5 percent products available starting November 1.

"They are in the business to make money, of course," said Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Control General Counsel Dr. John Maisch, Tuesday. "So if I was to speculate, it would be to capture or recapture some market share."

An A-B spokesperson confirmed Tuesday they would start selling 5 percent products November 1.
