OKLAHOMA CITY -

A woman was arrested on first-degree murder charges after her boyfriend was found dead at a home in southwest Oklahoma City, early Saturday morning.

According to police, at about 12:45 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a domestic call at a home, located in the 2900 block of S. Shartel Avenue.

The victim, 34-year-old James Lukes, was pronounced dead at the scene as officers arrived. Police say he had trauma to his body consistent with homicide.

Officers spoke with Lukes' girlfriend, 30-year-old Sandra Gonzalez, who was then arrested on first-degree murder charges.

Police are still investigating what led up to the altercation between the two.

The Medical Examiner's office will determine Lukes' cause of death.
