Update: Ex-Cowboy Fath' Carter Says He Gave Urine To Teammate

Former OSU safety Fath' Carter has taken a stand by the information he gave to Sports Illustrated, though he said he regrets talking to the magazine.

Carter recently spoke with reporter Tess Maune about the drug allegations brought forth in the third part of SI's special report.

"I can attest to my specific event; I don't want to name names, but I did urinate, I guess, for a couple people to, I guess pass them," Carter said. "I'm not sure but I was asked on a couple occasions to do that."

The article claims OSU tolerated and at times enabled recreational drug use, primarily through a counseling program they say allowed some players to continue to use drugs while avoiding penalties. It also attests the school's drug policy was selectively enforced, with some stars going unpunished despite repeated positive tests.

*After the article came out today, we followed up with Carter asking more questions about drug use in the program. He sent us this statement:

"I never smoked... I never took an actual drug test for another player at all. I gave my urine to only one person one time."

Carter, from El Reno, played at Oklahoma State from 2000 to 2004.
