'August: Osage County' Premieres At Toronto Film Festival Monday

TORONTO, Canada -

Toronto Film Festival officials say Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts and Benedict Cumberbatch are expected to be on hand for the premiere of August: Osage County on Monday.

The film, shot in Osage and Washington counties in Oklahoma in 2012, was adapted for the big screen from the Broadway play written by Oklahoman and Tony Award winner Tracy Letts.

August: Osage County is one of 16 films to premiere at the Toronto festival.

The 38th Toronto Film Festival runs through September 15.
