OSU Police Issue Crime Alert After Attempted Robbery On Campus

Oklahoma State University police issued a Crime Alert following an attempted strong-arm robbery that happened near Davis Hall early Thursday morning.

Oklahoma State University police issued a Crime Alert following an attempted strong-arm robbery that happened near Davis Hall early Thursday morning.

According to campus police, it happened at about 2:30 a.m. Thursday in parking lot #105, northwest of Davis Hall along McElroy Road.

The suspect is described as a light-complexioned, multi-racial man, who stands about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs between 160 to 180 pounds. He has a muscular build.

The man was last seen wearing dark-colored clothing. He was wearing a bandana covering most of his face and a hooded sweatshirt.

Campus police are urging everyone to following safety precautions, including,

Be aware of your surroundings.

Don't walk alone at night.

Stay in well-lit areas.
