OKLAHOMA CITY -

Some apartment residents in southwest Oklahoma City were forced out of their beds early Friday morning by a small fire.

The fire started in an apartment kitchen at a complex at Interstate 240 and Santa Fe. Firefighters arrived quickly and put out the fire within minutes. They dragged outside the oven that's believed to have sparked the fire.

No one was hurt and the damage was contained to one apartment. Residents were allowed to return to unaffected apartments.
