A man volunteering at a charity becomes a crime victim.

Someone stole Randy Brown's pickup and trailer from the Love INC charity offices in Cushing. The truck was stolen from along a busy street in the middle of the afternoon. But what the thief didn't count on was he was caught on surveillance video that over 100,000 people have now seen.

"I was parked right here in the shade," recalls Brown.

Brown volunteers about 30 hours a week for Love INC.  That's what he was doing on Monday when someone stole his Mazda pickup truck and golf cart trailer.

"So I was parked over here I come out to find my truck and it wasn't here," said Brown. "Me being old, fat and bald, I said I must have parked on the other side. When I looked on the other side I know I parked where I thought I did and my pickup was gone."

Surveillance video shows the thief first walking in front of the building and then the truck and trailer pulling away. Love INC executive director Amy McCrackin turned the video over to police and then posted it on their Facebook page.

"It is the best way we know how to communicate with this community and the broader community," said McCrackin.

And she couldn't believe the response.

"I posted it about 3:15 on Tuesday and by 10:00 or 10:15 that night we had 86,000 views of that video it was crazy. We had 267 people share that video and people from all of the state saying I shared it with Ponca City. I shared it with Owasso."

The next day another 60,000 viewed the video. Still no one has identified the man. So the video was the last Brown saw of his pickup truck.  And he'd like to get it back.

"The pickup wasn't a whole lot of loss, but the tools and everything was," said Brown.   "And just the idea."

If you want to check out the video again, or think you may recognize the man here is the Love INC Facebook page.
