Two Arrested For String of Car Burglaries In Edmond, Arcadia

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office has nabbed two men suspected of burglarizing multiple cars in Edmond and Arcadia.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office has nabbed two men suspected of burglarizing multiple cars in Edmond and Arcadia.

On August 27, police received five different burglary reports in the Lake Hiwassee addition near N.E. 178th Street and N. Hiwassee. The victims reported that several items were stolen from the vehicles, including cell phones.

Deputies traced one of those phones to the 2500 block of Glenhaven Drive in Midwest City. Deputies went to the apartment, and a resident gave them permission to search it.

Deputies found several items that had been stolen from the burglarized cars. They arrested two suspects; 18-year-old Kaylob Klingler and 28-year-old James Jackson. They were both booked into the Oklahoma County jail on five complaints of concealing stolen property.

Both men are still in custody. Their bail was set at $10,000 each.
