A Tulsa man was sentenced to prison time Tuesday for filing false tax returns from prison.
Donald Grayson, 61, used his trustee status when he was in prison in 2009 to access to a laptop and bank accounts of other prisoners.
Using that information, he filed tax returns from his cell in the names of three different prisoners.
The IRS noticed one of the returns was fake, but didn't catch the other two and paid Grayson more than $14,000.
Now, he'll have to pay back the money and go back to prison for another year and a half.
