OU Suspends Football Player Following Assault Arrest

University of Oklahoma offensive lineman Jacob Reed has been suspended indefinitely after he was arrested for assaulting his ex-girlfriend and breaking into her apartment.

University of Oklahoma offensive lineman Jacob Reed has been suspended indefinitely after he was arrested for assaulting his ex-girlfriend and breaking into her apartment.

The Cleveland County District Attorney's Office has filed assault and burglary charges against the 23 year old. According to an affidavit, Reed is accused of breaking into the woman's apartment early Sunday morning. Court documents say he chased the woman and hit her, and also struck a man who was with her.

Reed also allegedly threatened to kill the woman.
