DUNCAN, Oklahoma -

An ECU baseball player gunned down in Duncan is one step closer to his final resting place.

The body of 22-year-old Christopher Lane is on a plane to his native home in Australia. As his loved ones prepare to say their final goodbyes, new details are revealed about a possible motive for the tragic killing.

Lane died while jogging through an ordinarily quiet neighborhood in Duncan. Investigators say three teenagers shot and killed Lane because they were bored. But new information suggests there's more to the story.
