3 Juveniles Arrested In Murder Of ECU Baseball Player, Australian National

DUNCAN, Oklahoma -

Three juveniles have been arrested for the fatal shooting of an East Central University baseball player who is from Melbourne, Australia.

It happened Friday afternoon near the intersection of Twilight Beach on Country Club Road in Duncan.

Police say the victim, later identified as 22-year-old Christopher Lane, was jogging in the area when he was shot to death.

Lane's from Melbourne, Australia, and was staying with a host family in Duncan. He came to Oklahoma to attend school and play sports, according to the Duncan Banner.

The three juveniles were arrested a few hours later and taken to the Stephens County jail. Their names were not released.

The shooting is still under the investigation of police.
