An underage drinking party resulted in two stabbings and tied up at least 16 police units overnight, according to Tulsa police. Corporal R.W. Solomon said the victims are expected to survive their stab wounds.

Officers found about 100 party-goers in their teens and 20s when they were called to a house in the 9100 block of East 47th Place. Many ran out the back door of the home, Solomon said.

"There were so many people we were just trying to gain control of the situation," he told News On 6. Solomon said beer and alcohol were being served and the house smelled like marijuana.

Miracle Thompson, 22, who lives in the home, was taken into custody on 11 counts of contributing to the delinquency of minors and possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

Officers also found a scale, a bag of marijuana and a gun in the home.

The stabbing victims, one male and one female, went to a QuikTrip at 51st Street and Mingo Road to get help. One suffered a wound to the abdomen and was in serious condition but said to be stable. The other victim had cuts to her head and arm.

According to EMSA, they are both in serious condition at a local hospital. They are both 18 years old.

"We believe it was an altercation between some females," Solomon said.

Although gang units responded to the scene, police said it didn't appear that the stabbings were gang-related.

The stabbing suspect will likely be charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, Solomon said. They have a description of the suspect and are still investigating, the officer said.
