Prosecutors have filed charges against three people after Tulsa Police found three children living in filth last week.

Prosecutors have filed charges against three people after Tulsa Police found three children living in filth last week.

Matthew Prior and Angela Prior each face one count of child neglect.

Police went to their home in the 1200 block of North 76th East Avenue on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 on a welfare check.

According to a Tulsa Police report, officers found the couple's three children in a filthy home, with cockroaches, rotting food and feces on the floor.

Prosecutors also charged the children's grandmother with child neglect. According to investigators, Janet Marie Friend, 57, is the primary caregiver of three children -- ages 5, 3 and 2.

The children were removed in February because of the filth but were returned in May.

All three are in the Tulsa County jail with bonds of more than $150,000 each. The children are in DHS custody.
