One person was taken into a custody following a high-speed pursuit that raced across southwest Oklahoma City, and involved the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and police officers from Oklahoma City, Norman and Moore.

The chase began early Friday morning at S.W. 59th Street and Shields. Several law enforcement agencies took turns chasing the driver, later identified as Samuel McBride Jr., across southern parts of the metro.

The pursuit finally ended near S.W. 179th Street and Penn when McBride hit a mobile home. No one inside the home was hurt, but the structure was damaged.

McBride tried to run from the scene, but was quickly caught and arrested.

Authorities say the car McBride was driving had been stolen. He is facing multiple charges.
