YUKON, Oklahoma - A Yukon man arrested last Friday on charges of child sexual abuse and child porn now faces additional charges, after authorities restored more than 16,000 deleted photos, including photos of him molesting a child.

According to the Canadian County Sheriff's office, 30-year-old Stephen Christensen was taken into custody after images of him sexually abusing a female toddler surfaced on the Internet.

Christensen was charged with sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12 and manufacturing of child pornography. As of Tuesday, authorities say Christensen is facing additional charges, including possession and distribution of child porn.

Deputies say Christensen has been uncooperative, and denied the allegations. However, the Sheriff's Office Forensics Computer Lab was able to restore over 16,000 deleted images, including images of Christensen sexually molesting the child he denied abusing.

"Federal and state agencies typically take up to six months or longer to process these examinations. By having our own computer forensics lab we're able to perform these examinations ourselves in a matter of hours, instead of months," said Randall Edwards, Canadian County Sheriff. "This advantage reduces the turn-around time, and takes these animals off the streets now, and eliminates their opportunity to victimize even more children."

Christensen remains in the Canadian County Jail, and the District Attorney's Office is pursuing no bond.
