Preliminary Autopsy On Mooreland Teen Shows No Foul Play

A preliminary autopsy report shows an 18-year-old Mooreland man was not a victim of homicide.

Kolby Bowers was transported to a hospital in Woodward early Sunday morning where doctors pronounced him dead. Bowers was at a party near Fargo prior to being taken to the hospital.

The Ellis County Sheriff's Office requested OSBI to help work the suspicious death case. Agents will continue to interview those at the party who may provide information related to Bowers' death.

Toxicology testing is underway to help determine how Bowers died.
