The combination of heat, moisture, and a weak upper-level disturbance will create the potential for severe weather Monday evening and night.
Severe storms capable of golfball-size hail and wind gusts in excess of 60 mph will be possible Monday afternoon across the northern half of Oklahoma, extending into the southern half of Kansas.
Flash flooding will also be a concern, particularly along the Oklahoma and Kansas border.
