OKC Police Catch Man Wanted For Attacking Woman With Hand Saw

Oklahoma City Police have captured a man they say tied up a woman and attempted to cut her throat with a hand saw early Monday morning.

Oklahoma City Police have captured a man they say tied up a woman and attempted to cut her throat with a hand saw early Monday morning.

The attack happened just after midnight inside the home of the suspect's brother on S.E. 42nd Street near Interstate 35.

Police have identified the suspect as Curtis Charles Jennings.

Police say Jennings' brother called 911 after finding the suspect in his home, attempting to kill the woman. When Jennings' brother tried to stop the attack, police say the suspect pulled out a gun and pointed it at his brother. He then ran from the house.

Police caught the man just before 7 a.m. near S.E. 44th Street and High.

An ambulance rushed the victim to a hospital. Police told News 9 the victim was in serious condition and undergoing surgery.

Police have not said what the relationship is between the suspect and victim.
