North Canadian River Swallows Choctaw Family's Home

Posted: Updated:
CHOCTAW, Oklahoma -

A Choctaw family lost their home to the North Canadian River.

Flooding from all the rain we got Friday morning led to erosion, and on Saturday the home fell into the water.

The Buford family has had trouble with flooding and erosion before.

News 9 told you back in May that the home near Northwest 23rd and Triple X Rd. was in danger of falling into the water.
