Members of a drug task force arrested a Sequoyah County man after finding 91 pounds of processed marijuana in his home outside Muldrow.

Members of a drug task force arrested a Sequoyah County man after finding 91 pounds of processed marijuana in his home outside Muldrow. Street value was estimated at about $250,000, according to District 27 Drug Task Force Director Michael G. Moore.

Thepvongsa Douangta, 61, was booked into the Sequoyah County Detention Center on Friday.

After getting a search warrant for Douangta's home, Task Force members and deputies with the Sequoyah County Sheriff's Office seized 80 live marijuana plants in addition to the processed drugs, a news release states.

They also confiscated about $5,000 in lights and ventilation equipment, and several firearms.
