Strong winds peeled back the roof on Pawhuska's fire station early Wednesday, according to Fire Chief Gip Allen.

Allen said the damage is above the department's truck bays. He said none of the fire trucks were damaged.

The winds came as a line of thunderstorms moved across Osage County late Tuesday and early Wednesday.

Allen says the storm also damaged the roof of the Pawhuska Nursing Home on Pecan Avenue just south of Main Street.

There have been no reports of any injuries, he said.
