Tulsa Man Claims $1 Million Lottery Prize

Alan Beckert, a Tulsa resident, matched five of five white balls for $1 million.

A Tulsa man claimed the $1 million winning lottery ticket from Saturday night's drawing. Alan Beckert selected the winning numbers and successfully match five of five white balls according to the Oklahoma Lottery.

After taxes, Beckert received a check for $710,000. He says he plans to invest it for his family's future.

Beckert purchased the winning ticket at the Food Pyramid grocery store at 41st and Harvard.

Oklahoma has had four Powerball jackpot winners, and Beckert is the 29th Oklahoman to win $1 million or more, a news release states.
