Canada College first baseman Steven Knudson will transfer to Oklahoma Baptist this fall to continue his baseball career.

The 6-0, 265-pound sophomore was a first-team Junior College All-American as a freshman. He hit .303 with eight home runs and 41 RBIs.

"We are extremely excited about adding Steven to the 2013-14 recruiting class," Chris Klimas, Bison associate head coach said. "He will add a lot of right-handed pop and run production to the middle of our lineup. Steven is a great fit for OBU and our baseball program, and we are excited to have him."

Knudson played at El Camino High School in South San Francisco where he was an All-State selection for Coach Carlos Roman.

"I chose to come to OBU to play for a great program and to further my education in the field of kinesiology," Knudson said.
