Warr Acres Man, School Santa, Arrested For Lewd Proposals To Child

A Warr Acres man, who often gets paid by metro schools to play Santa, was arrested during an undercover investigation into internet crimes against children.

On Thursday, July 11, 49-year-old Wiley Gene Davis, Jr. was arrested for making lewd act proposals to who he thought was a 15-year-old girl on Craigslist.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Davis responded to a Craigslist advertisement he believed was posted by a 15-year-old girl. Davis reportedly made numerous sexual and lewd proposals and even referred to himself as "Santa."

At about 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Davis arrived at a convenience store in the area of Coltrane and Waterloo to meet who he thought was the 15-year-old girl. As Davis stepped out of his vehicle, undercover agents noticed that he was wearing a loaded pistol and a private investigator badge.

Davis was immediately arrested for lewd act proposals to a child under 16, violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act, and possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony.

Davis was then booked into the Logan County Jail.

According to the OSBI, Davis is also a co-ed baseball coach for kids 6 years and younger in the Oklahoma City metro area.
