A 19-year-old from Tahlequah who was reported missing on Friday has returned home, according to Wagoner police.

WPD initially requested the media's help about 5 p.m. on Saturday. By 7:30 p.m., police said Haley Choate returned home on her own.

A missing persons report was filed when Choate disappeared after she said she was going to meet friends for a movie in Muskogee. She had been visiting family in Wagoner, and they told police the disappearance was completely out of character and there is not a known reason why she would have vanished without calling.

Choate was last seen wearing a turquoise shirt with a pink undershirt, jeans and cowgirl boots. She is described as 5-foot-10, medium build with brown hair and blue eyes.

Wagoner police previously asked for tips in the case, but closed it once she returned home on Saturday.
