Two Wagoner County women died sometime July 4, according to a news release from the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's Office was called in to investigate both unattended deaths, according to Major Gary Handley.

Both women were discovered by family members.

Vickie Lynn Hill, 53, was last seen when the family had dinner July 3. She lived on her parents' property in the Rocky Point area. Hill's father forced entry into her home when he was unable to make contact with her Thursday and found his daughter not breathing, a news release states.

The second unattended death took place in the White Horn Cove area. Rose M. Teixeira, 82, was found dead of a gunshot wound to the head. A loaded revolver was recovered at the scene, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Teixeira was last seen shortly before 1 p.m. by a neighbor who gave her a ride to the store. Her body was discovered by her daughter and son-in-law when they came home after a day on the lake.

The bodies of both women have been taken to the Medical Examiner's Office.
