Hundreds Of Cars Pass Through OK Sheriff's Dept. DUI Checkpoint

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office had their hands full Saturday night while conducting a special DUI sweep in Oklahoma City that saw nearly 1,000 vehicles pass through.

Deputies conducted the sweep in northwest Oklahoma City, from 10:30 p.m. Saturday until 3 a.m. Sunday.

In total, 81 drivers were cited for various infractions, 18 arrested were made, including six for driving under the influence, and 42 vehicles were impounded.

Over the course of the night, deputies checked 931 vehicles.
