Oklahoma City Police have arrested a suspect they believe is responsible for a Friday morning robbery and attack at a convenience store, as well as a brutal brick beating on a motel worker.

Police arrested 35-year-old Donald Earl Frazier, Jr. on Friday. Police say around 3:40 a.m., Frazier walked into a Circle K at S.W. 59th Street and May Avenue, and hit a clerk over the head with something, leaving the man with a serious head injury.

Police say Frazier then tried to open the cash register but couldn't do it, so he grabbed the register and ran out of the store with it.

The clerk was rushed to the hospital where he remains in serious condition.

Around 11 a.m., police were told Frazier was near a bus stop at S.W. 59th Street and Penn. Officers found him there and took him into custody.

Police now believe Frazier is also responsible for a violent attack on a clerk at the Cambridge Inn on June 24. Employee Dala Kirkpatrick says a man asked to rent a room just after midnight. She said when she asked him for his ID, he instead pulled out a brick and began hitting her with it.

Police say Frazier then ransacked the office searching for valuables, but they believe he left without taking anything.
