Two Suspects Arrested In Connection With Stoops Home Burglary

Police have arrested two people suspected of burglarizing the home of Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops.

Police have arrested two people suspected of burglarizing the home of Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops. 

Corey McCarty, 21, was arrested at 6:23 a.m. Saturday in Norman, according to the Cleveland County Sheriff's office.

A juvenile was also arrested in this case. His name was not released.

McCarty is charged with first degree burglary in addition to use of a stolen credit card, larceny of a motor vehicle, and possession of stolen property.

The Stoops home was robbed early Wednesday morning while the family was sleeping. No one was hurt, but the thieves stole a car as well as other small items.
