Police arrest a man accused of a bank robbery Wednesday in south Oklahoma City.

Nolasco Santa Maria Denis, 31, was arrested in connection with the robbery of the J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, located at 7401 S. Walker.

It happened Wednesday at approximately 2:15 p.m. Investigators say a Hispanic man entered the bank lobby and approached the teller counter. The man told the teller he had a gun in his pocket and demanded money. A gun was never seen. However, the teller complied with the suspect's demand, and gave him an undisclosed amount of money.

Witnesses told police the man then fled the bank and walked across the street to a convenience store. The suspect came out of the store with a bag and returned to his car, which was parked in front of the bank.

When OKC police officers responded to the robbery, they saw the suspect identified as Denis, standing beside his car in front of the bank. Denis was taken into custody by police.

No one was injured in Wednesday's robbery. Denis faces Federal Bank Robbery charges.
